LIMITED WARRANTY CERTIFICATE

Residence PRO 32 KIS

INSTALLED AS RESIDENTIAL OR COMMERCIAL HEATING SOURCE 
AS OUTLINED UNDER CONDITIONS BELOW

TWELVE (12) MONTH WARRANTY

Evergreen  Products  International  Inc.  (hereinafter  referred  to 
as the Company) warrants to the original purchaser or original 
user that all RIELLO GAS FIRED WALL HUNG BOILERS sold by it and 
all parts thereof are free of defects in material or workmanship 
under normal use and service. The Company’s sole obligation 
under this warranty shall be limited to furnishing replacement 
parts, F.O.B. Toronto, Ontario, for 12 months from the date of the 
initial installation of the heater. Defective parts to be returned to 
the company, transportation charges prepaid.

WARRANTY OF PRIMARY and SECONDARY PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS

The Company warrants to the original purchaser or original user 
of RIELLO GAS FIRED WALL-HUNG BOILERS that it will at any time 
during the warranty period, as designated below, furnish primary 
and/or  secondary  heat  exchangers  F.O.B.  Toronto,  Ontario,  for 
any primary and/or secondary heat exchanger which is provided 
to  the  satisfaction  of  the  company  to  be  inoperative  due  to 
defects in material or factory workmanship. The Company’s sole 
obligation  under  this  warranty  shall  be  limited  to  furnishing 
primary and/or secondary heat exchangers.

This warranty shall cover the replacement of the primary and/or 
secondary heat exchangers only as described for the time period 
of 10 years (120 months) from date or original purchase. Warranty 
claims will be based on the prorated values below:

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The warranties set out in this certificate are the exclusive remedy 

of the original owner or user in lieu of all other warranties 

written,  oral  or  implied  (including  any  warranty  of  merchant 
ability or fitness for the purpose) and all other obligations or 
liabilities on the part of the Company, and the Company neither 
assumes nor authorizes any person to assume for it any other 
obligation or liability in connection with the sale, installation or 
use of the boiler or any parts thereof.

The  Company  will  not  be  responsible  for  labor  charges  for 
the  analysis  of  a  defective  condition  in  the  boiler  or  for  the 
installation of replacement parts.

The  warranties  provided  herein  will  not  apply  if  input  of  the 
boiler exceeds the rated input as indicated on the name plate, by 
more than 2%, or if the boiler in the judgement of the Company 
has been subjected to misuse, negligence, accident, corrosive 
atmospheres,  physical  damage  to  the  boiler,  alterations  by 
unauthorized  service,  operation  contrary  to  the  Manufactures 
instructions including annual cleaning or if the serial number 
has been altered, defaced or removed. 

9  WARRANTY

The Company shall not be liable for any default or delay in the 
performance  by  it  of  these warranties  caused  by  contingency 
beyond  its  control,  including  war,  government  restriction  of 
restraints, strikes, fire, flood or short or reduced supply of raw 
materials,  or  parts.  This  warranty  does  not  cover  damages  to 
components  caused  by  water  leaks,  or  damages  caused  by 

malfunctions as a result of water leaks.

The warranties herein shall be null and void:

 

− If the boiler is not installed by a qualified, Company-trained 

heating  contractor  and/or  if  the  boiler  is  not  installed  in 
accordance to the appropriate Riello Installation & Operation 
Manual For Contractors 

 

− If  the  boiler  is  not  maintained  and  repaired  according  to 

the  appropriate  Riello  Installation  &  Operation  Manual 
For  Contractors  (service  records  or  proof  of  maintenance 
documentation are required).

 

− Failure to install low loss header or provide proper hydronic 

separation where required.

 

− Deformation  occurs  due  to  freezing;  improper  storage  or 

handling

 

− If  the  appliance  is  not  installed  in  accordance  with  all 

applicable local and national codes and regulations. If the 
boiler is not direct vented. If the boiler is not installed in a 

clean, dry area.

 

− Any  alterations  are  made  without  written  authorization  by 

the manufacturer

 

− The  heat  exchanger  is  not  cleaned  in  accordance  with 

manufacturer’s requirements for natural and propane gas. 

 

− Premature  component  failure  due  to  poor  combustion  air, 

water quality or  gas quality.

What to do if a warranty claim is required:
Written  permission  is  required  for  the  return  of  any  parts  or 
equipment  and  any  such  return  must  be  made  on  the  basis 
of transportation charges prepaid. Shipments may be refused 
unless prior written permission is obtained and goods returned 
prepaid.

Written  permission  must  be  obtained  through  a  local  Riello 
distributor  and  must  be  obtained  by  your  qualified  service 

technician. 

Contact your installing/service contractor to initiate a claim. Do 
not contact Riello S.p.A. or Evergreen Products International Inc. 
as  they  cannot  provide  technical  assistance  unless  you  are  a 
qualified service technician. 

Parts under warranty will be replaced or credited only. Credits 
will only be issued to authorized wholesalers.

Maintain a copy of all service records and combustion tests as 
these may be required for any warranty claim.

Ensure that the customer receives the Warranty 
Documentation included with the installation manual.

Leave the manual with the customer so they know when to 

call for annual maintenance and inspection.
