two stages

At the first stage the valve closes normally at ca. 95% of tank capacity.
The second stage occurs after tank truck hose is drained, at ca. 98% of the storage tank capacity.
At this point further delivery of fuel is not permitted and loading operation is completed.

LEVEL 2

The valve can be installed under the manhole lid of the tank in an existant 4” riser pipe or alternatively
on 3” zinc-plated steel pipe, there is no need to remove the manlid. The valve can be pre-assembled in
factory with aluminum drop tube, normally 150cm long, and riser pipe of the length according to the
customer request. All pipes are BSP threaded.

INSTALLATION

Before proceeding with installation be sure that valve model is in compliance with local/national laws
which regulate this specific device in relation to tank capacity requirements, normally 95%.
The overfill prevention valve is compatible with all commonly used hydrocarbons. In presence of fuel with
a high concentration of ethanol (E85) please contact before our technical department.

In  order  to  prevent  product  spillage  from  the  storage  tank,  forecourt  workers  must  be  trained  and
managed to inspect the loading adaptors and hoses for damaged or missing components. When loading
equipment is not properly maintained or connections between adaptors and elbows or drain hose are
not correctly performed fuel spills may result causing environmental contamination and explosion risk.
