Points when conducting the
Transition Work

To conduct communication between the field and the Center in
the most efficient way possible.

This means continuing work without waiting for the next
hourly polling.

To be allowed Internet access at customer site.

To make it possible to operate both the RC Gate/RC Gate A
UI and the Center GUI at the customer site. However, the
technician needs access to the Administrator menu of the
Center GUI to complete all tasks.
Preconditions

Execute a Device Check Request Call from the appliance UI
each time a center command is created
(e.g. Device remove
request, Device Registration request, Parameter change request, etc.).
This prevents the need to wait for the next polling.
Remarks
ˆ
Instead of a Device Check Request Call, a Service Test Call can also be made,
but this takes longer.
