MCU Firmware Update

After updating the system firmware, continue to update the MCU (micro controller) firmware by the
following procedure.

Equipment Needed

Hardware

1. Projector with system firmware update
2. Power cord

Firmware Update Procedure

Updating the MCU Firmware

Power off the projector and disconnect the power plug.

While holding down the “Power” key, plug in the power cord.

The Power indicator flashes red and blue alternately at 0.5 second intervals.

Release the [Power] button within 1 second after step 2.

Each indicator is in the following state.

• Power indicator: flashes blue at 1 second intervals
• Lamp indicator, Temp indicator: flashes red at 1 second intervals

Press the Power key once while each indicator is blinking.

Each indicator is in the following state.

• Power indicator: lights in blue
• Lamp indicator, Temp indicator: flashes red at 0.5 second intervals
