SYMPTOM
Vertical line appears, if Adjustment Settings for Operators [10: Density Difference Printing:
Across Feed] is executed, after executing either or both of the following using
System/Copy firmware before version 3.00:
Adjustment Settings for Operators
[0201-01 Execute Image Quality Adjustment: Adjust All]
[0201-03 Execute Image Quality Adjustment: Density Difference Across Feed]
CAUSE
Bug in the firmware
Executing Adjustment Settings for Operators 0201-01 and 0201-03 generates incorrect
parameters.
Executing [10: Density Difference Printing: Across Feed] tends to emphasize the incorrect
parameters and create the vertical line.
ACTION
Update the firmware
Copier : System / Copy Ver 3.01.2 or later
Printer : System Ver 3.01.2 or later
