Introduction
This manual contains detailed instructions and notes on the operation and use of this machine. For your
safety and benefit, read this manual carefully before using the machine. Keep this manual in a handy
place for quick reference.
Administrator Password
The configuration screen for the administrator password appears when the machine's power is turned on
for the first time or the machine's settings are restored to the factory defaults. Make sure that the
administrator password is configured. If the administrator password is not set, you cannot use the
whiteboard function.
• The administrator password is not set in the factory defaults.
• The administrator password must fulfill the following conditions:
• Specify an administrator password that is 4 to 20 characters long.
• You cannot specify a blank space as the administrator password.
• You cannot specify "admin" as the administrator password.
• If a machine system that is using version 3.5.X.X or earlier is updated to version 3.6.0.0, the
configuration screen for the administrator password does not appear. You can continue to use the
current administrator password. However, if a machine system that is using version 3.5.X.X or
earlier is updated to version 3.6.0.0 while its administrator password is still "admin", you cannot
change any settings in [Administrator Settings] unless you first change the administrator password.
