Configuring the E-820 and clients for WebTools
Fiery WebTools allow you to manage your E-820 remotely from the Internet or from
your company’s intranet. The E-820 has its own home page, from which you can select
a variety of functions, including Status, WebSetup, WebSpooler, WebLink, Installer,
WebScan, and WebDownloader.

The WebTools provide access to many E-820 functions via the Internet (or intranet),
providing additional flexibility in remote management. You can access the WebTools
from a Windows or Mac OS computer.

1.
In E-820 Network Setup, enable TCP/IP.
2.
Set a valid, unique IP address for the E-820, and then set the subnet mask.
Set a gateway address, if required.
3.
Enable Web Services.
4.
In E-820 Printer Setup, confirm that the Print Queue
is published.

Enable TCP/IP networking.
2.
Assign the workstation a valid, unique IP address and subnet mask, and a gateway
address, if required.
3.
Install an Internet browser that supports the Java language and frames.
