The setting of SP4904-2 (Image Process Setting – Process Select: Photo) determines

whether dithering or error diffusion is used at the “Quality Processing” step. Four settings

are available:

0: 8 x 8 dithering

1: 6 x 6 dithering

2: 4 x 4 dithering

3: Error

diffusion

If dithering is selected (0, 1, or 2), this enables the settings of SP4903-5, 6, 7, 8.

If error diffusion is selected (3), this enables the settings of SP4903-9, 10, 11, 12
