These SP’s count the number of pages scanned by each ADF mode to
determine the work load on the ADF.
1 Large Volume
Selectable. Large copy jobs that cannot be loaded in
the ADF at one time.
2 SADF
Selectable. Feeding pages one by one through the
ADF.
3 Mixed Size
Selectable. Select “Mixed Sizes” on the operation
panel.
4 Custom Size Selectable. Originals of non-standard size.
5 Platen
Book mode. Raising the ADF and placing the original
directly on the platen.
6 Mixed 1side/2side Job mixed with printing one/two sides.
! If the scan mode is changed during the job, for example, if the user switches from ADF
to Platen mode, the count is done for the last selected mode.
! If the user selects “Mixed Sizes” for copying in the platen mode, the Mixed Size count
is enabled.
! In the SADF mode if the user copies 1 page in platen mode and then copies 2 pages
with SADF, the Platen count is 1 and the SADF count is 3.
