These SP’s count the total number of jobs scanned and sent to a folder on
a PC (Scan- to -PC).
Note: At the present time, 8151 and 8155 perform identical counts.

These SP’s count the total number of jobs scanned and sent with Scan- to
-PC.
!
These counters count jobs, not pages.
! If the job is cancelled during scanning, it is not counted.
! If the job is cancelled while it is waiting to be sent, the job is not counted.
! If the job is cancelled during sending, it may or may not be counted, depending on
what stage of the process had been reached when the job was cancelled.
! Even if several files are combined for sending, the transmission counts as one job.

These SP’s count the pages scanned by each
application that uses the scanner to scan images.

! SP 8191 to 8196 count the number of scanned sides of pages, not the number of
physical pages.
! These counters do not count reading user stamp data, or reading color charts to adjust
color.
! Previews done with a scanner driver are not counted.
! A count is done only after all images of a job have been scanned.
! Scans made in SP mode are not counted.
