Qualification of personnel

The installation must be carried out by specially trained
personnel.

Requirements for the mounting
Comply with environmental conditions according to the technical
data.
5.3.1
Additional requirements for installation in Ex-protected area
When installing the unit in explosion-proof area must ensure safe
operation, the following additional requirements must be met:

Ensure operation only via intrinsically safe repeater power
supply in 3-wire connection (see Technical Data section
10.1).
■
The converter
SAFERUN
® CMS-T may only be exposed to a
magnetic field of a maximum of 7.5 A / m.
■
The temperature class of the can
SAFERUN
® CMS-S is de-
pendent on the maximum medium temperature at the in-
stallation site (see Specifications Section 10.1).

The can
SAFERUN
® CMS-S must be installed and used such
that electrostatic charging processes are excluded.
■
The can
SAFERUN
® CMS-S must be installed and used that
chemical incompatibilities with the funded media may be ex-
cluded.
