♦
Screw impeller shaft
230
into pump rotor
859
while carefully lowering the assembly.
♦
When lowering, make sure that the square of
bearing bush
545/x
remains in the seat of im-
peller
230
.
♦
Tighten impeller
230
with momentum on the
last thread turn.
After screwing in the impeller shaft, there is a gap
of approximately 0.128” (3 mm) between impeller
230
and plain bearing pedestal
339
.
Among other things, the factory certificate speci-
fies clearances
X
and
Y
.
See sectional drawing in section 10.1.
Dimensions "
X
", "
Y
" and "
Z
" must always be
checked when the rotor unit stops in the direction
of the suction nozzle.
X
: Clearance behind the impeller
0.114” to 0.146” (2.9 to 3.7 mm)
Y
: Clearance before the impeller
0.098” to 0.138” (2.5 to 3.5 mm)
Z
: Axial clearance of the plain bearing
0.016” to 0.051” (0.4 to 1.3 mm)
These
clearances
must
be
observed.
The thickness of the housing gasket can be used
to influence dimension
Y
.
7.8.5 Final assembly
♦
Transport the drive unit by crane. The ring bolt
on the bearing pedestal flange can be used for
this purpose.
♦
Screw the two supplied M 16 assembly
threaded rods into the threaded holes of the
bearing pedestal flange.
♦
Using the triangular pyramid on the threaded
rods and an open-end wrench size 13, press
the drive unit into the lantern chamber. In the
process, turn the threaded rods evenly in
alternation.
Attention! Magnetic forces!
Risk of accident!
♦
Remove the threaded rods and reseal the
threaded holes with the protective caps.
♦
Screw bearing pedestal
330
with washer
554/11
and hexagon screw
901/17
to lantern
344
.
♦
Transport the slide-in unit by means of the in-
tegrated support rings in the lantern.
Additionally, the supplied ring bolt can be
screwed into the bearing pedestal flange
straight up (“12 o’clock”).
Remove the threaded cap beforehand.
This means two slinging aids are available.
♦
Slide the complete slide-in unit with housing
gasket
401
into housing
100
and fasten with
housing screws
901/3
and clamping washers
552/3
.
♦
When tightening housing screws
901/3
, make
sure that support bracket
183
is in position. If
necessary, loosen the support bracket, align it
and fasten it again.
See
section 1.1
for the tightening torques
.
Among other things, the factory certificate
specifies clearances
X
and
Y
. See sectional
drawing in
section 10.1
.
Dimensions "
X
” and "
Y
" must always be checked
when the rotor unit stops in the direction of the
suction nozzle.
X:
Clearance behind the impeller
0.114” to 0.146” (2.9 to 3.7 mm)
Y
: Clearance before the impeller = 2.5 to 3.5 mm
0.098” to 0.138” (2.5 to 3.5 mm)
These clearances must be observed. The
thickness of the housing gasket can be used to
influence dimension
