12. Before you start the engine, make sure the product and cutting
element is not contacting anything.
13. To start engine, put the machine body on a flat ground and pull the
starter rope while holding the machine body securely so that the
product cannot touch the ground and surrounding obstacles.
14. Don’t pull the starter rope while pressing on the throttle lever in
the status where the product is hung with one hand.
This operation mode is strictly prohibited.
15. If the cutting element continues to rotate, stop the engine, and
then readjust the idle adjustment screw after confirming that there is
no hitch on the throttle lever motion.
16. Always carry the product with the engine stopped; with the
cutting element protective cover; and the muffler away from your
body (to avoid any burn hazard).
17. Always inspect the product before each use for worn, loose, or
damaged parts.
Never operate a product that is damaged, improperly adjusted, or is
not completely and securely assembled, or without protective shield.
Be sure that the product stops moving when the throttle control
trigger is released.
18. All product service, other than the maintenance listed in the
Instructions Manual, should be performed by competent service
personnel.
19. Always shut off the engine before setting it down.
Ensure that the cutting element is no longer rotating when you put
the product
20. Do NOT expose to and do not use during bad weather conditions:
Never cut in high wind, bad weather (e.g. rain, storm, snow…), when
visibility is poor or in very high or low temperatures.
21. Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil or fuel mixture
22. Operate the product only in outdoors or in well ventilated areas.
Never start or run the engine inside a closed room or building.
Exhaust fumes contain dangerous carbon monoxide.
23. Do not operate the product while standing on a ladder or any other unstable footing
location.
24. Guard against kickback, particularly dangerous as product may slip from your hands.
Kickback is the upward or lateral sidewise motion of the cutting head which occurs when the
cutting element contacts a hard object.
Kickback can lead to dangerous loss of control of the product
25. Never touch the muffler guard or cutting element with bare hands while the engine is in
operation or immediately after shutting down the engine.
Doing so could result in serious burns because of high temperature.
27.1. Become familiar with the controls and the proper use of the equipment.
27.2. Store idle machine
When not in use, product should be stored in a dry, high or locked up place, out of reach of
children.
27.3. Do not force the tool
It will do the job better and safer at the rate speed for which it is intended.
The product will do a better and safer job if it is used only for the purposes it was designed for.
