I. PRESENTATION
1.1- Presentation
The chainsaw is designed for sawing and/or cutting wood and wooden material.
It should only be used by skilled operators who have read the instructions manual.
1.2- Intended Use:
The chainsaw is intended for outdoors use for felling trees, sawing logs, branches, wooden beams, planks…; for
cross or longitudinal cuttings.
The chainsaw is intended for use in the private domain, i.e. a household use to cut wood within the tool’s
characteristics.
1.3- Not Intended Use:
The chainsaw is not intended for artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use (for ex. forestry felling
or pruning).
Do not use for applications not covered in this manual, such as cutting or sawing plastics, metals. Minerals (eg.
ceramic, stones…).
Do not use other chains and / or accessories than those provided or recommended by the manufacturer, to avoid
a danger.
The manufacturer or seller cannot be held responsible for incorrect or non-compliant use of machine.
1.4- Residual Risks
Even when the tool is used as prescribed it is not possible to eliminate all residual risk factors (Read the safety
warnings).
