IVF Thermometer

Probe

The IVF Thermometer is supplied with a miniature thermocouple which 

is ideally suited for temperature measurement in small volumes of liquid. 

AlsoavailablefromRIisarobustprobesuitableforlargervolumesof

liquid,andacryo-probeoptimisedforcryopreservationtemperatures.
Connecttheprobetothesocketatthetopofthemeterandtightenthe

screwcollar.Removethewhiteplasticsleevefromtheprobetipbefore

use, but keep the sleeve to protect the probe when it is not being used.

Note:

Thetipoftheprobeismadewithverythinwires.Alwayshandle

the probe gently to minimise the risk of breakage.

Using the IVF Thermometer

Turn the meter on by pressing the 

ON

buttonforabouthalfasecond.

Themodelnumber“2110”willflashinthedisplaybrieflyandthemeter

will begin measuring.
Press the 

HOLD

buttontofreezethecurrentlymeasuredvalue.Thiscan

beusefulwhenwritingdowntemperatures.Thesymbolwillshow

on the display. Press the 

HOLD

buttonagaintoreturntothelivedisplay.

Toswitchthemeteroff,pressandholdthe

OFF

button.Themeterwill

alsoautomaticallyswitchoffafteraboutfiveminutesifnobuttonshave

beenpressed.Itwillnotautomaticallyswitchoffifthe

 HOLD

isactive.

Pleasenotetheoffsetvaluestatedonthecurrentcalibration

certificateandadjustyourreadingaccordingly.
