AXLE ASSEMBLY - PULL TYPE
Attach Center Axle Weldment (1) to the cutter deck by aligning the pivot lugs and bushing and inserting the
Axle Pivot Pins (2) as shown. Secure both pins by installing a 1/2” x 1-1/2” Hex Bolt (3) and 1/2” Toplock Nut (4)
as shown.
AXLE ARM
1. Attach the Suspension Axle Clamp (2) and the
Axle Arm Pivot (3) around the main axle tube
as shown. Secure with 3/4” x 2-1/4” Hex Bolts
(8) and 3/4” Toplock Nuts (9).
2. Align the bushing in the Suspension Axle Arm
(1) with the pivot holes in the Axle Arm Pivot
(3) and insert the Axle Arm Pin (6). NOTE:
The Orientation of the Axle Arm Pin is
important.
Retain the Axle Arm Pi by inserting
a 5/16” x 2-1/4” Hex Bolt (12) through the
bushing and pin and secure by installing a 5/
16” Toplock Nut (13).
3. Insert two 1/2” x 4” Hex Bolts (10) through the
Suspension Axle Clamp (2) and then through
two Rubber Suspension Pucks (5). Rotate the
Suspension Axle Arm upward to align with the
1/2” x 4” Hex Bolts (10). Secure the arms
together by installing 1/2” Toplock Nuts. (7).
NOTE:
It is important to only tighten these Bolts/
Nuts for the Rubber Pucks so that the lock is fully engaged on the nut. There will be extra bolt length. This is to
allow for the proper mechanics of the suspension system.
4. Insert the Hub and Spindle assembly (4) into the Suspension Axle Arm (1) as shown and secure with a 1/
2” x 3-1/4” Hex Bolt (11) and a 1/2” Toplock Nut (7).
