5.4.3.2.
Individual bonding conductors
A second method, which may be more convenient in situations when the safe zone is close to
the sensor installation area, is to use an individual bonding wire of at least 4mm
2
cross section
connecting each sensor to its associated Zener diode barriers. This is analogous to the use of
cable shields for bonding, except that the bonding conductors are now run parallel to the cables.
This arrangement is shown schematically in the following figure:
