OPERATING THE IONIC GENERATOR
- Immediately after turning on the styler, you’ll
hear the gentle crackling of millions of ions that are quickly neutralizing frizz and maximizing
sheen for strand softness and manageability. The Ionic Generator releases a flow of powerful
static-fighting ions that help to smooth and straighten your hair for a polished, brilliant shine.
STYLING
- Plug the power supply cord into a mains socket. To turn the appliance on
press the “On / Off” Button. The digital display will turn on and display the temperature
setting. To increase the heat setting, press the “+” button. The LCD screen will display the
temperature setting. To lower the heat setting, press the (-) button. Once the temperature is
selected the temperature setting will blink for 30 seconds. Once the temperature becomes
solid the appliance is ready to use. For best results follow the temperature guidelines below:
Your appliance will remember the previously selected heat temperature the next time the unit
is turned on.
IMPORTANT:
The high-performance heater in this unit contains an oil-based protective
coating that will burn off during the first few minutes of initial use and may emit smoke
and/or an odor. You may also hear a humming noise during use. This is normal and is not a
cause for concern.
STYLING TIPS
- The Salon One-Step Heated Brush should be used only on clean,
dry hair. Dry hair completely before styling. Before using this appliance, detangle hair by
brushing or combing. Style hair as desired by brushing hair with Salon One-Step Straight
and Shine
TM
XL Heated Brush. No need to section your hair. The ceramic comb and
detangling bristles glide easily throughout your hair, including the back of your head.
Use the Ribbed Exterior Housing to create flips or curl under ends. To create more volume
and body, simply wrap hair around housing. The ribbed exterior will guide hair, creating the
desired volume.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
- Your appliance has an Automatic Shut-off feature.
Should you forget to turn off the appliance, it will automatically shut off after one hour.
AUTOMATIC WORLDWIDE DUAL VOLTAGE
- This appliance will automatically
adjust to the correct voltage.
CLEANING -
Always unplug the appliance from the mains after use and allow it to cool
before cleaning. To clean, wipe the appliance and plates with a damp cloth. Make certain
the appliance is completely dry before using. Keep heated surfaces clean and free of dust,
dirt, styling sprays and gels.
STORAGE -
Always unplug when not in use.
Allow the appliance to cool before storing. Always store in a dry location. Do not pull
or twist the cord. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the cord
to wear prematurely and break. Regularly check the power cord for wear and damage
(particularly where it enters the appliance and the plug).
