4. INSERT/REMOVE THE BATTERIES

Open the camera by pulling the handle to the side, loosen the clasp and fold the front
part forward on.

Insert 4, 8 or 12 x AA batteries into the camera.
Caution:
Please note the plus and minus polarity of the batteries and only use AA size
batteries. Other types of batteries have a negative impact on the functionality of the camera.
Alternatively, you can power the camera externally. More information
can be found at www.reviermanager.at
Please note:
If you remove the batteries, because you want to substitute them with new
batteries, please switch off the camera first. Push the button towards
OFF
. To switch the
camera on again, see page 5. „Initial Start-Up of the camera“.
Check the time in the menu if the camera has been without power supply for a long time.
Tip:
Update the time in the
MENU
each time you replace the battery

Close the camera again and make sure that the shutter on the camera closes
properly. The rubber seal in particular must be able to close properly and neatly.
If damaged, it must be replaced immediately. (Damages caused by moisture ingress of
damaged seals is excluded from the guarantee)
