Troubleshooting the radio controlled Clock Movement
If the hands of the clock do not move or run permanently, check the following
points for possible sources of interference.
Check if the battery is inserted properly.
Check if the battery’s capacity is sufficient.
Check, if the radio controlled wall clock is placed at least 2 meters away from
appliances such as TV-sets, monitors, telephone-sets, machines with HF stray
fields or household appliances that are not interference-free.
During reception process do not reposition the radio controlled wall clock but
wait until the radio reception is finished. After approx. 10 minutes, if there is
still no reception, reposition the clock to another place. Remove the battery
from the movement (A11) and wait approx. 1 minute before reinserting the
battery again and starting a new initialisation.
Please note, that reception of the time signal can be disturbed by local
features such as mountains or man-made structures (Metal or Concrete).
Preferably place the radio controlled wall clock close to windows.
Connect the two electric contacts of the reset opening (A14) with a small
metallic object to reset the clock and to start a new initializing procedure. If the
clock movement still runs without stopping, the clock movement is defective.
Troubleshooting the radio controlled clock
If the indoor temperature (A3) and the outdoor temperature display (A2) show
wrong readings, check the following points for possible sources of interference.
Check if the battery is inserted properly.
Check if the batteries’ capacity is sufficient.
Troubleshooting the wireless outdoor Sensor
If the display (B2) of a wireless outdoor sensor shows faulty readings, check the
following points for possible sources of interference.
Check if the battery is inserted properly.
Check if the batteries’ capacity is sufficient.
Do not place the wireless outdoor sensor close to heaters, air conditioners etc.
Such devices may cause faulty readings.
Make sure the distance between the sensor and the radio controlled wall clock
does not exceed 30 m.
