THE ARGOS HEMODYNAMIC MONITOR QUICK-START SET UP GUIDE
1.
Mounting:
Ensure the ARGOS Monitor is
mounted securely to a stand, pole or arm
before powering it on. Connect the unit to a
working AC power outlet using the included
power cable.
2.
Connect to Patient:
Use your patient’s
existing radial arterial line which is providing
BP signal to the vital signs monitor already.
This – rather than a separate arterial line
transducer – will be your source for BP signal.
3.
Connect
ARGOS

Your
vital signs monitor connects to the ARGOS
input port using the cable included with the
ARGOS. If a Philips vitals monitor, there will
be a Philips module with the appropriate

be a white plug that inserts into the white
port. (If neither of these options are
appropriate for your vital signs monitor, please
see your Retia Medical Sales Professional.)
