2.1 Intended Use
The ventilator is a mechanical ventilator designed
to provide invasive and non-invasive, continuous or
intermittent, respiratory support for neonate, pediatric
and adult patients.
Intended areas of use:
◆ In the intensive care ward or in the recovery room.
◆ During transfer of ventilated patients within the
hospital.
The ventilator is intended for use by qualified, trained
personnel under the direction of a physician and within
the limits of its stated technical specifications.
2.2 Contraindications
The contraindications listed below is only for
noninvasive ventilation.
◆ Lack of spontaneous respiratory or inability to
trigger breath
◆ Moderate or severe facial or brain damage
◆ Recent upper airway or esophageal surgery
◆ Hemodynamic instability
◆ Diseases such as gastric dilatation that cause reflux
mistaken aspiration
◆ Inability to maintain a patient airway or adequately
clear secretions
