Performance Verification
Preliminary Cleaning,
Inspection and Setup
WARNING:
To prevent disease transmission, use protective equipment when handling
contaminated bacterial filters or other patient accessories.
Before servicing the ventilator, clean and inspect as follows:

Clean the ventilator exterior as described in the
Esprit Ventilator
Operator’s Manual.

Oxygen analyzer with accuracy of ± 2%

Pressure analyzer capable of measuring high
pressure (PSI)

counter accurate to three decimal places

10 mL calibrated syringe (Neonatal testing)

NOTE:
An oxygen source capable of delivering 180 LPM (40-90 PSI) is
required for oxygen system tests.
