3.4 System Shutdown Instructions
CAUTION
Improper shutdown of the transceiver can result in software problems.
After the system starts, the 7k Control Center Start button is replaced by a Stop button.
1. Click the Stop button to shut down both the 7k Center and the SeaBat
display.
This does not terminate the 7k Control Center. The 7k Control Center
remains active, ready to start the 7k Center and SeaBat display again with
the same or different selection of sonar settings (see
section 3.3 above
NOTE
If an error occurs, while the 7k Control Center is attempting to shut down
the SeaBat display, the following dialog will appear:
If there is any unprocessed data when the error occurs, it is possible that
portion will be lost. It is also possible that the current sonar settings
(Depth, Range, etc.) are not saved the next time the sonar is started.
2. Click the cross in the upper right corner of the 7k Control Center to terminate
the Control Center.
3. To shut down the transceiver press the power button (or follow normal
Windows procedure).
CAUTION
Pressing the power button for a long time will turn the power supply off,
which may cause Windows to start in safe mode at the next power up.
