In the upper right corner of the sonar image frame, the status of Roll Stabilization and
Quality Filter are shown.
The Roll Stab indicator reports one of the following:
o
ON (indicates roll stabilization is active. Data output and wedge
displays are roll stabilized to within ±0.025°)
o
OFF (indicates roll stabilization is inactive)
o
WARNING (indicates that roll values in excess of ±15° are being
received)
o
ERROR (indicates that roll values in excess of ±35° are being received
or that roll rates exceed 10°/sec)
The Quality Filter indicator reports one of the following:
o
ON (indicates quality filter is active)
o
OFF (indicates quality filter is inactive)
The section of the Primary Display tab just below the sonar image and above the sonar
control tabs is the sonar image control portion, which includes the following features:
Alarm indicator (event messages)
1PPS input indicator
Normalization indicator
Button control for freezing the sonar image
Button control for maximizing the sonar image
Mode drop-down menu
Track, depth, and range readings
Button control for automatic update of autopilot settings
