Note:
The fuse holder must audibly click into place
for the fuse to be properly installed!
Important note:
The mains connection must be carried out with
the common ground of the building to which
the pipework of the solar thermal system is
connected.
The power supply to the controller must be carried
out via an external power switch (last step!) and the
supply voltage must be 100 ... 240 V~ (50 ... 60 Hz).
The controller is equipped with one relay to which the
pump can be connected:
• Relay 1
14 = neutral conductor N
15 = conductor R1
PE terminal
• The digital sensors are connected to the slots marked
“Digital Sensor”. The connection order of the digital sen-
sors is arbitrary.
• The RESOL VBus
®
is connected to the terminals marked
“VBus”.
• The terminals marked “PWM” are control outputs for a
high-efficiency pump (
D e lt a S o l
Sensor HE only). See
pg. 11 for allocation details.
• The mains connection is at the terminals:
16 = neutral conductor N
17 = conductor L
PE terminal
At the terminals S1 ... S3, optional Pt1000 temperature
sensors can be connected with either polarity. The values
measured by these sensors will be displayed for informa-
tion purpose only and will not be involved in the control
algorithm.

ATTENTION! ESD damage!
Electrostatic discharge can lead to da-
mage to electronic components!
Î
Take care to discharge properly
before touching the inside of the
device!
WARNING!
Electric shock!
Opening the housing will expose live
parts!
Î
Switch off power supply and dis-
connect the device from mains
before opening the housing!

Fuse
If no indication is made on the display, the fuse may be
blown. Replace the fuse with the spare 4.0 A fuse contained
in the fuse holder.
The fuse holder becomes accessible when the front cover of
the controller has been removed (see photo to the left).
