e) Recording audio
• When in photo mode, briefly press the mode button to switch to audio mode.
• Briefly press the shutter button to start recording audio.
• In order to stop recording, briefly press the shutter button again.
The indicator lights up red and blue steadily while in audio standby mode.
The indicator lights up red steadily and flashes blue slowly while recording
audio.
f) Motion detection
• When in standby mode for video recording, press and hold the mode button for
approx. 3 to 5 seconds in order for the product to switch to motion detection mode.
• Once there is an object moving within a distance of max. 8 m to the product, the
product automatically starts recording a video. If the product does not detect any
motion for more then 2 minutes, the recording will stop automatically.
• You may cancel the recording by pressing the mode button. The indicator will light
up blue for approx. 1 second. You can re-position the camera within this time frame.
After that, the motion detection mode will be re-activated and the indicator lights up
red and blue steadily.
• In order to deactivate the motion detection mode, press and hold the mode button
for approx. 3 to 5 seconds.
The indicator lights up red and blue steadily while in motion detection mode.
Once a motion has been detected, the indicator lights up blue steadily and
flashes red slowly.
g) Simultaneously charging the battery and recording videos
• Press and hold the mode button.
• Connect the product to a suitable USB power supply (e.g. computer or power
adapter with USB port) using the USB cable provided.
• Release the mode button. The product is then in video recording mode.
h) Setting time and date
• Make sure a micro SD card has been inserted into the memory card slot.
• Connect the product to a computer using the USB cable supplied.
• Open the TIME.TXT file located in the main directory.
• Replace the date and time manually. While doing so, do not change the format and
do not delete any spaces.
• Save the file.
i) Automatic switch-off
The product will turn off automatically in case of the following circumstances:
• Recording video with battery being too weak.
• Insufficient storage capacity on the memory card.
• After 45 seconds of inactivity in standby mode (without microSD card inserted).
j) Card reader
• Connect the product to a computer using the USB cable supplied. While doing so,
the product can be switched off or be in standby or video mode.
• Copy or delete data from or on the memory card, or add new files, same as with any
other common card reader.
The indicator lights up red steadily, or it flashes red when the built-in battery
of the product is being charged.
• If the computer does not recognize the product within 30 seconds, disconnect it
from the computer and repeat the procedure.
k) Webcam
• Connect the product to a computer using the USB cable supplied.
• Briefly press the shutter button in order to use the product as a webcam.
• Open the system control of your operating system and define the product as
webcam.
l) Reset
Press and hold the shutter button and mode button simultaneously for 5 seconds in
order to reset the product to factory settings.

Maintenance and cleaning
• There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never
open/dismantle the product.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other
chemical solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• Use a clean, soft and dry cloth for cleaning. Keep the camera lens clean.
• Store the product at a dry, clean location shielded from direct sunlight and out of
the reach of children.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with
applicable regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of
the environment.
