4. Power Supply Area
The power supply area includes multiple connectors for providing a variety of power supply
options to the Main Board and Piggyback Boards. On board voltage regulators are available to
regulate the board’s DC input voltage to the levels required for the integrated circuits. To provide
flexible prototyping capabilities, the voltage regulator outputs and IC voltage rails are selectable.
Indicator LEDs are provided to easily observe the state of the IC voltage rails.
Caution: See precaution 6.2 for details regarding the voltage rail indicator LEDs.

4.1 Board Power Supply Connectors
Power is supplied externally to the board using the connectors described in Table 2. If VBAT is
supplied using connectors CN5 or CN6, the on-board regulators can be used to regulate the
