The seat base and the seatback may
be folded down (one or both sections)
to allow bulky objects to be carried.
To fold away the seat base
Raise the seat base

To fold down the seatback
Remove the rear headrest (if fitted).

Removing the seat base
Raise the seat base so as to remove
the tabs

from their housing

To replace the seat base,
proceed in
the reverse order to removal.
Ensure
that the seat base is correctly se-
cured.
– When returning the seatback to its normal position,
make sure that it is properly locked at the top. Where seat
covers are fitted, make sure that these do not prevent the seatback latch from locking in.
– When moving the bench seat,
make sure the seat belt reels

are correctly repositioned before folding down the
seat base.
When the bench seat has been put back in place, make sure that the seat belts are correctly repositioned.
