8 Error Causes and Remedies
8.1 Optical displays

POWERLINK

ON (green)
All OK, the node is in a NMT
State Machine defined condition.
Normal operating state
ON (red)
POWERLINK error occurred
Try to restart the device: Voltage OFF/ON. If the
error arises repetitive, the measuring system
must be replaced.
ENCODER

Voltage supply absent or too low
- Check voltage supply, wiring
- Is the voltage supply in the permissible range?
Hardware error, measuring
system defective
Replace measuring system
ON (green)
Measuring system ready for
operation

Measuring system error occurred
Try to restart the device: Voltage OFF/ON. If the
error arises repetitive, the measuring system
must be replaced.
Blinking (red)
Teach-in process active
