The
Quality of Service Object
(QoS) is a general term that is applied to
mechanisms used to treat traffic streams with different relative priorities or other
delivery characteristics. Therefore the Ethernet/IP
™ messages are marked with
“Differentiated Service Code Points” (DSCP).
