TG-R5W

Wireless room temperature sensor

TG-R5W is a wireless room temperature sensor that monitors tem-
perature and sends a signal to a Regin Modbus receiver.

Commissioning

For optimal temperature monitoring, the sensor should be mounted in

an open space with good air circulation, and at a height of 1.2 to 1.4
meters.
The sensor must be paired with the receiver before it can be used.

Installation of batteries

1.  Open the cover by pressing the locking tab carefully with a

screwdriver

2.  Insert two 1.5 V L91 Lithium batteries

Other functions

Temperature detection

The sensor monitors the temperature at a preset time interval (factory
setting is 2 minutes), and if the temperature has changed by more
than ± 0.2°C it will send a signal to the receiver. If the temperature is
stable, the sensor will transmit a signal every 95-115 minutes.

Self test

The sensor

will automatically send a supervisory signal to the receiver

at an interval of 95 to 115 minutes to test the signal.
The receiver will indicate “out of signal” if it has not received the
signal at a preset interval.
