Username

: Enter the Username given to you by your service provider. This username is 

specific to the compression service. 
 

Password

: Enter the Password given to you by your service provider. This password is 

specific to the compression service. 
 

Bypass Regex Domain

: This is the 'whitelist' of sites that should not be compressed. To add 

a site, select the Add icon 

. Proper syntax must be used to successfully bypass 

compression. See the Help tab for guidance and examples of using regular expressions.  
 
 

With Compression Enabled

, the page expands to reveal Proxy Authentication by Client, 

Server, and Compression Level. 
 

 

 

Proxy Authentication by Client

: By default this is unchecked as it does not work with the 

Captive Portal enabled. In this state, unchecked, the upstream proxy server will login on your 
behalf. If this is checked, then the authentication happens at the user end, which means that 
when a user goes to any webpage they will be prompted for a username and password.
