6. Components of the RP Lite
®
System
The RP Lite
®
Console
(see Figure 2)
The console takes air from the room environment and sends it to individual air
chambers in the garment(s).
The RP Lite
®
console is powered by either a DC power adapter or by a
rechargeable battery inside the console. The battery can be charged while the
console is operated by electricity.
The following table illustrates the battery power capacity displayed by the
battery status indicators.
Prong Plug
(see Figure 3)
If you use only one garment, insert this plug into the unused air outlet on the
front of the RP Lite
®
console, to seal it and prevent air from escaping.
DC Power Adapter
(see Figure 4)
The DC Power Adapter receives 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz AC power and
supplies 12 VDC 3A to the console.
Note:

Turn
On
the
Power Switch
to enable charging the battery.
•
Turn
Off
the
Power Switch
to conserve battery power when not
charging or not using the console.
