CONNECT THE
KEBA PENDANT
AND SAFEGUARDS
In the last section, you plugged an Emergency 25-pin D-Sub connector into the EMERGENCY
port of the EPSON controller. The other end of the attached safety cable is another Emergency
25-pin D-Sub connector. You can use this second connector to integrate the KEBA pendant
and other safety features.
To integrate the KEBA pendant and other devices, purchase EPSON's Emergency Terminal
Block Kit, listed in the table below. You will also need another Ethernet cable.

You may use a junction box or cabinet to enclose the electrical components, wiring, and
external 24V power supply. Use cable glands to provide strain relief and a sufficient IP rating
for the EPSON Emergency cable, KEBA pendantcable, Ethernet cables, power cables, and any
other cables required for your setup. Your setup may look like the example image shown
below.
