TransWin32 software is working correctly. This is shown in
red
if the verifier evaluation program is
no longer working correctly and requires a restart.
If the device has already been used to perform a
measurement, the
1st evaluation page appears, if the
<OK ENTER>
button is
pressed.
By pressing the number key
<1 >
it is possible to switch
the laser beam on and off for positioning, without this
starting a measurement. A beep sounds with this.
By pressing the number key
<6 >
it is possible to
quickly change the pre-set measuring aperture, without
needing to change to the corresponding setting menu.
Pressing the red
<Scan>
button starts a measuring
process. The laser beam immediately lights up briefly.
The sensor receives the reflected beam and a beep indicates that a measurement has been
completed. The display then shows the 1st overview screen of the code evaluation. All following
display screens show the detailed results. Scrolling takes place by pressing the arrow keys.
5.3.1 Quick display with LED and acoustic signal
The three middle LEDs directly below the name
indicate the measuring result as a quick display with
traffic light colours:
The red
fail
LED lights up as an error message
if the selected class is not attained.
The green
“pass”
LED lights up if the measuring
result has reached the selected class as a minimum, or surpassed it.
The yellow
“warning”
LED lights up with a warning message (e.g. if the scan beam was too
narrow to detect rest zones during the measurement).
Corresponding acoustic signals sound in combination with the optical LED indicators:
1 x beep / green LED on =
The measurement was successful and the result is the
same or better than the pre-set specifications.
2 x beeps and red LEDs off =
The measurement was not successful: no or incorrect
code symbol detected (the device was possibly not set
to “Code type automatic search” or the code symbol is
incorrect and could not be read/decoded.)
1 x beep plus 2 x beeps and red LED on = The measurement and decoding were successful, but
there is at least one error in the code symbol, meaning
that the pre-set specifications were not satisfied.
