A network cable that matches the respective country standard for the connection to the C 13 socket
is included in the delivery.
3.3 Switching on and off
Pressing the red
<ON>
button switches the device on.
When switched on for the first time, the green “on” LED lights up.
It takes 30-50 seconds for all programs to be initialised. Only then
does the main screen appear, as shown on the right.
If the REA ScanCheck 3n is switched on, it can be switched off
again by pressing the
<ON>
button once more.
The display then opens the menu window for the various modes.
Using the arrow keys, it is possible to move the colour focus to
the desired command and then confirm this with the
<OK Enter>
button.
It is also possible to press the number keys
<1…8>
corresponding with the numbers in front of the menu items, in
order to initiate the desired function immediately.
3.3.1 <1> Sleep mode
puts the device into low power sleep mode, whereby the display
and further drivers are switched off and the processor continues
to operate with the lowest power consumption.
From this mode, pressing the <ON> button re-activates
the device immediately. Sleep mode should be automatically
activated after a pre-set time via the device settings, in order to
save power with rechargeable battery operation.
3.3.2 <2> Shut down device
switches the device off completely and ends all programs. You
should choose this function if the device is not to be used for an
extended period of time, for example after completing the measurements or at the end of the
working day. In this operating mode, the device also draws very low power from the rechargeable
batteries or power supply unit.
