8.3 Handling
Comply with the operating instructions in the Manual
Please read this Operating Manual carefully even if you are already
experienced in the handling of verifiers.
Qualification of personnel
The operating company must ensure that the personnel working on the
device have the required qualifications.
Compliance with standards/regulations
The operating company must ensure that all relevant standards and
regulations are complied with when operating the verifier.
Warranty and liability claims for personal injury are excluded if they were caused by one or
more of the following:
Disregard for the precautionary measures described in this Manual or otherwise
known precautionary measures.
Non-compliance with the care and diligence required for operation and handling.
8.4 Obligations of the operating company
The operating company undertakes to have only those persons work on the REA
ScanCheck 3n who:
have been trained in the operation or maintenance of the system with the
fundamental provisions for industrial safety and accident prevention;
have been instructed in the handling of the REA ScanCheck 3n;
have read and understood this manual and in particular the safety chapter and the
warnings, and have confirmed this with their signature.
8.5 Obligations of the user
All persons working with the REA ScanCheck 3n undertake
to comply with all basic rules and regulations concerning occupational safety and
accident prevention;
to read and comply with this manual, in particular the safety instructions and the
warnings.
