Figure 41: Adjusting pins and grooves in REA JET HR print heads
Both print heads are connected with the two long screws (1) included in the delivery of the stripper
plate. The screws are inserted through the two print heads and tightened with nuts. The following
image shows the assembly position of the two screws, as well as the position of the two bolts of the
front screw.
Figure 42: Assembly position of the two screws to connect two print heads
The stripper plate is screwed at the side, like with the single and double stripper plate offset. The
force- and form-fit assembly is done with two screws one on each side of the housing of the print
head. On the lid side only the lower fastening hole is used. This screw is only used to intercept a
potential tilting torque, e.g. when a product is stuck or twisted behind the stripper plate. This screw
is not used to position or fasten the stripper plate. This screw is a grub screw that can only be
screwed in approx. 2/3 of its length.
The exact positioning of the two linear print
heads is done with adjusting pins and the
corresponding grooves (2) of the print heads.
During installation, please make sure that the
adjusting pins on the right side of one of the print
heads are in the grooves on the left side of the
other print head. Grooves should be chosen to
which the upper edge of the print heads is flush.
