Front Panel Controls
1. POWER Button and STANDBY Indicator Light
Use to turn the power on and off.
The STANDBY indicator lights when the power is turned off and the player is
connected to an AC power supply.
2. Disc Tray
Press OPEN•CLOSE to open and close the disc tray.
3. PLAY
Begins disc play (and closes disc tray if open).
4. OPEN•CLOSE
Press to open and close the disc tray.
5. SKIP REV
Allows you to move to the beginning of the preceding title, chapter, or
track on a disc (in effect, “skipping” the title, chapter, or track).
6. REV and FWD Dial
Allows you to search in reverse or forward during the play
mode. The speed of the search increases the farther the dial is turned.
7. SKIP FWD
Allows you to move to the beginning of the next title, chapter, or track
on a disc (in effect, “skipping” the title, chapter, or track).
8. PHONES
Headphone jack. You can attach headphones here for private listening.
9. VOLUME
Use to adjust headphone volume level.

11. STOP
Stops disc play.
12. PAUSE
Pauses disc play (also use for frame advance).
Front Panel Messages
The following messages appear in the display:
OPEN
The disc tray is open.
CLOSE
The disc tray is being retracted.
NO DISC
No disc is loaded.
OFF
Power has been turned off.
