Notes:

• This method for accessing specific locations is available only
within the current title of the DVD disc.
Angle Setting (DVD)
1. Press
DISPLAY
twice. The Function menu appears and you can
see how many angles are recorded on the disc.
2. Press
ANGLE
repeatedly to select the desired angle.
3. The unit changes to the selected angle about three seconds later.
4. Press
DISPLAY
to return to the normal view.
Audio Setting (DVD)
1. Press
DISPLAY
twice. The Function menu appears and you can
see how many audio formats are recorded on the disc.
2. Repeatedly press
AUDIO
to select the desired type of audio.
3. The unit changes to your selected audio type about three
seconds later.
4. Press
DISPLAY
to return to the normal view.
Subtitle Setting (DVD)
1. Press
DISPLAY
twice. The Function menu appears and you can
see how many subtitle formats are recorded on the disc.
2. Repeatedly press
SUBTITLE
to select your desired language.
The unit changes to your selected language about three seconds
later.
3. Press
DISPLAY
to return to the normal view.
PROGRAMMABLE MEMORY
DVD
The two types of programmed playback provided by this unit are
title programmed playback and chapter programmed playback.
Title/Chapter Programmed Playback
1. Press
MEMORY
while the disc is stopped.
2. Enter the title numbers.
3. Use

to highlight and enter the chapter numbers.
4. Use

to move to other fields and enter other titles
and chapters.
5. Repeat Steps 2 and 3.

to start programmed playback.
Notes:
• If you press

twice, programmed selections are cleared.
• If you press

the numbers are erased and you can enter them again.

Track Programmed Playback
1. Press

while the disc is stopped.
2. Enter the track number.

to move to and enter additional track numbers.
4. Repeat Step 2.

to start programmed playback.
Note: If you press

Repeat Playback
You can play a specific title or chapter repeatedly.
Repeating a Title (DVD)
While the disc is playing, repeatedly press
REPEAT DISC
until
Repeat Title
appears on the screen. The current title is played
repeatedly.
Repeating a Chapter
While the disc is playing, repeatedly press
REPEAT DISC
until
Repeat Chapter
appears on the screen. The current chapter is played
repeatedly.
To resume normal playback, repeatedly press
REPEAT DISC
until
Repeat Off
appears on the screen.
Repeating a Single Track (CD)
While the disc is playing, repeatedly press
REPEAT DISC
until
Repeat Single
appears on the screen. The current track is played
repeatedly.
Repeating a Whole Disc
While the disc is playing, repeatedly press
REPEAT DISC
until
Repeat All
appears on the screen. The whole disc is played repeatedly.
To resume normal playback, repeatedly press
REPEAT DISC
until
Repeat Off
appears on the screen.
Repeating a Specific Section (DVD/CD)
1. While a disc is playing, press
REPEAT A-B
at the beginning of
the section you want to play repeatedly.
Rep A-
appears.
2. Press
REPEAT A-B
again at the end of the section.
Rep A- B
appears. The unit immediately begins replaying your selection.
3. To resume normal playback, press
REPEAT A-B
until
Off
appears.
Notes:
• A-B repeat can only be used within the same title.
• A-B repeat does not operate in scenes where different camera
angles are recorded.
