4.7.5.6.2 Email Setup
1. Check the Email Enabled checkbox to enable the email function
2. Check the Combine Messages checkbox to combine multiple emails into a single email
3. Assign up to four email recipients by entering their email addresses in the Email Users fields
4. Check the Event Message Box associated with the users who need to receive email notifications
for the associated events
5. Check the Summary Message Box associated with the users who need to receive email summaries
of events daily and/or weekly
4.7.5.7 Configuration Upload/Download
The configuration upload/download page allows transferring system configuration to or from the unit via
the webpage. When the download link is clicked, the unit saves the current configuration into a file and
transfers it to the user. It should be saved as a .cfg file. When uploading configuration, select a .cfg file
and press upload. Note that the maximum length of a filename for an uploaded file is 28 characters. After
a successful upload, the unit will restart and the webpage will attempt to refresh after 30 seconds.
R.C. Systems recommends downloading the Config File once the system is successfully setup and tested
to be functioning as desired. This will allow the user quickly reconfigure a replacement unit in the event
of a catastrophic failure of the ViewSmart 1600+, or provide a reliable configuration setup for similar
applications in different areas.
