Using the RCR-1 with cartography
Important considerations when using the RCR-1 to read electronic chart cards.
Due to the high data bandwidth requirements of electronic charts (especially when sharing with other
networked MFDs), Raymarine recommends that an MFD internal card reader is used for cartography
whenever possible.
If the RCR-1 is used for cartography, you must first fit suppression ferrites; for more information
refer to:
p.25 — Fitting suppression ferrites
