Using Track
Histories
Starting and Stopping a Track

To start and stop a track:
1. From the initial soft key display, press the
MENU
key to display the main
menus.

2. Use the trackpad or press the
TRACKS
soft key to highlight the
START
option,
and press
ENTER
.
The option changes to
STOP
, indicating that Track History is turned on, and
the chartplotter starts laying down track marks.
The track data is stored in the track file that is set as the current track (see
below).
3. If you wish to turn Track History off again, highlight the
STOP
option and
press
ENTER
.
4. Press
CLEAR
to clear the menus.
Deleting the Current Track
Deleting a track clears all the track history data from the selected file, ready to
use it for new data.

To delete the current track:
1. From the initial soft key display, press the
MENU
key to display the main
menus.
2. Use the trackpad or press the
TRACKS
soft key to highlight the
DELETE
option, and press
ENTER
.
3. Press
ENTER
again to confirm the deletion.
The track data in the current track file is deleted.
If the track is currently active, the old data is cleared from the file and the
screen, but any new track history information is still stored in the current
file.
4. Press
CLEAR
to clear the menus.
Editing Track Controls
The
EDIT
option on the Tracks menu allows you to edit the controls for the
current track and also any other tracks stored in memory. You can:
