• COG/SOG filter: — Setting the COG / SOG filter according to the amount of your vessel’s
oscillation (e.g.: roll, pitch and yaw) provides more stable COG and SOG readings.
• Internal GPS: — Enable and disable your display’s built-in GPS / GNSS receiver.
• Send GPS to VHF: — Enable and disable output of GPS / GNSS data from your display to a
connected VHF radio.
• Restart — Restart the GPS / GNSS receiver in use by the display.
5.5 Status area
The status area is located at the top right of the homescreen. This area displays the current time and
identifies the status of the display’s sonar ping. The status area pop-over menu provides access to
the timer and time and date settings.
Status area icons
The icons displayed in the Status area signify the current status of certain connected devices.
1. Sonar pinging.
2. Sonar ping disabled.
3. Sonar error.
5.6 Timer
A timer is provided in the homescreen status area. The timer can be used as a countdown timer or
as a count-up (stopwatch).
