The data reported by your GNSS receiver provides an instantaneous measure of the receiver’s
speed and direction. Under certain conditions the data can become erratic. (e.g.: a slow moving
sailing vessel in rough seas will have a high oscillations and will benefit from a High setting, whereas
a power boat that can quickly change speed and direction will have a low oscillation and will benefit
from a low settings.)
The available options are:
• High
• Medium (default)
• Low
Note:
The filter does not affect your GNSS receiver’s reported position.
Internal GPS
If applicable, you can enable and disable the MFD’s internal receiver using the toggle switch.
Disable if you do not want to use the MFD’s internal GNSS receiver as a source for positioning data.
For troubleshooting purposes you can also

the active GNSS receiver.

displays the relevant list, where you can manage and
customize your data.

displays the Fuel manager and Trip counters.

opens a file browser.

allows you to backup or restore user data and MFD settings using an
external storage device.

MFDs configured with the First responder boating activity profile include a Messages icon on the
My data page which allows access to the Messages app. For details refer to:
The Messages app also requires STEDS compatible AIS hardware.
