Cored fiberglass hull installation:
Drill
Hole saw for hull interior 4" (100 mm)
Miniature disk sander
Casting epoxy (polyproxy #7035/7040) or resin
Paper cup

Testing the Selected Mounting Location
Establishing a Performance Baseline
The results of this test are used to determine the best in-hull location for a
transducer.
1. Take the boat to the maximum depth for which your instrument is rated, or the
maximum depth in which you will operate the sounder.
2. Connect the transducer to the DSM. Refer to
