Log Time Interval. Set the frequency for logging weather data into the application report. This information will
only be available in the shapefile report. Refer to the File Export section on page 45 for additional information
on exporting the shapefile job report with completed job files.
RECORD WEATHER SNAPSHOT
During an active job, touch and hold the Weather Station widget to view detailed weather conditions currently
monitored by the station. Touch the Record Snapshot button at the bottom of the Weather Station prompt to
record the current conditions into the job report screen.
Refer to the Ending a Job section on page 131 for additional assistance with closing job files and editing weather
information.
GREENSEEKER
®
DEVICES
The ROS device is capable of interfacing with the GreenSeeker rate management system to adjust the application
based upon the crop conditions detected by the GreenSeeker system. ROS will control the application system
based upon the GreenSeeker interface to adjust application rates as necessary during field operations.
NOTE: A GreenSeeker activation code will be required to unlock the GreenSeeker interface and features.
Contact a local GreenSeeker or Raven dealer for additional information or assistance.
GREENSEEKER COMMUNICATION SETTINGS
NOTE: Only the GreenSeeker serial device communication settings are configurable via the ROS device.
Review the GreenSeeker operation documentation for additional assistance with system calibration or
operation.
To set up the GreenSeeker:
1. Touch the Edit icon in the Machine Panel to view the machine devices.
2. Locate and select the GreenSeeker module. The Port Configuration tab will be displayed with the following
settings:
Auto Detect. The auto detect option is recommended to allow the ROS device to automatically detect and
connect to the GreenSeeker system upon system start up. Deselect this option only if the automatic detect
feature is not properly connecting the GreenSeeker system or if instructed by a Raven technician.
Auto detect must be disabled to access the following manual settings.
Port. Manually select the port on which the GreenSeeker system may be detected.
Baud. Select the baud rate for GreenSeeker communication during field operations.
Apply Button. Touch the “Apply” button when making changes to the communication settings to save the
displayed settings.
