Data Menu
Additional features of the SCS console can be modified using the Serial, Product, Console, and CAN
submenus accessed by pressing the DATA MENU key on the SCS keypad. The Data Menu also contains the
Product Summary screens for each product as well as the AutoBoom if the optional hardware is installed.
Each time DATA MENU is pressed, the display advances to the next submenu. Pressing the UP and DOWN
arrow keys advances to the next option in the current display. Press the CE key to toggle an option setting or
the ENTER key to use the Edit mode to input data.
Note:
The Data Menu contains calibrations and settings which are not required for SCS console
operation.
The following is a description of the features available within the Data Menu.
Serial Submenu
Data Logger
Enables or disables data logging. There must be a trigger value and trigger unit selected to enable this feature.
When enabled and saving data to a flash card, the datalog file number will be shown.
Note:
The SCS 4400 with part number 063-0172-281 and SCS 4600 with part number 063-0172-343
both feature a compact flash card slot for application data transfer to a home or office computer.
For consoles with other part numbers, the data logging feature will only be used when connecting
to an optional external console for logging or mapping applications.
Data logging consoles will only recognize compact flash cards up to 512 MB. Do not use cards
with larger storage capacity with SCS consoles.
Field Reference
Allows user to enter up to a four-digit reference number to represent a job. The field reference is included in
field begin and field end pages as well as the data logger time/date string.
