Correction Source
Press the key to access the Correction Mode screen.
Press the key and use the or arrow keys until the desired correction source setting is flashing
on the screen.
Press the key to select the displayed setting.
The Phoenix 300 may be used with the following differential correction sources:

a. If the correction source is not available in the correction mode selection, an authorization
code will be required before the receiver can be used with the correction service. Contact a
local Raven or Slingshot dealer for additional information or assistance.
Description
None
No differential corrections selected. Receiver will report raw GPS
data to report a position to within 30 feet [9 m].
SBAS
Satellite Based Augmentation System such as WAAS, EGNOS,
MSAS, QZSS, GAGAN, or SDCM.
GLIDE
GPS smoothing algorithm and autonomous positioning solution
proprietary to NovAtel
®
Inc.
OmniSTAR
®
XP/G2/HP

VBS, HP, and XP correction sources require a subscription to OmniSTAR

Satellite based, dual band subscription services privately

dealer for additional information or to activate services.
RTK
Real Time Kinematic - Ground based solution suitable for
localized sub-inch corrections. RTK services require
administration of a local base station.
